Daniel Murray established The Animal Health Centre over 20 years ago, going on to develop Moate Pet Clinic, serving the local communities of Moate, Athlone, Clara and Kilbeggan.
This practice has now expanded into the modern, comfortable premises we have today, most recently achieving Companion Animal Hospital Status which is the highest standard accredited by the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
This ensures your pet receives the greatest level of care from our dedicated team of vets and nurses,

Our facilities include xray, ultrasound, dentistry and in house bloods - our surgical team is accredited by the ESVPS. The new inpatient facilities at Moate Vet Hospital are of the highest standard possible.
Cattery & Canine Kennels
A separate cattery ensures a stress-free environment and our walk-in kennels with underfloor heating provide the utmost comfort for our canine companions while they recover - no matter how big they are!
