At Moate Vet Hospital our large animal team is fully trained to carry out a wide range of on-farm surgical procedures under appropriate sedation and local anaesthesia. This includes common procedures such as displaced abomasum correction, caesarean sections, hernia repairs, and enucleations.

We aim to provide a calm and controlled environment for both animal and handler. All surgeries are performed with a strong emphasis on pain relief, hygiene, and post-operative care.

In more complex cases, referral to our hospital for further diagnostics or support may be recommended. We’re always happy to talk you through your options.
