Established by Daniel Murray over 20 years ago, the vet practice has now expanded into the modern, comfortable premises we have serving the local communities of Moate, Athlone, Clara and Kilbeggan.
We are a fully equipped mixed animal veterinary hospital in Westmeath, offering a full range of services for both companion animals and farm livestock. As a Department of Agriculture approved TB testing practice and an accredited member of the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies, we are constantly updating our knowledge and skills to provide the most up-to-date care for your animals.
Moate Vet Hospital has also achieved Companion Animal Hospital Status, which is the highest standard accredited by the Veterinary Council of Ireland. This ensures your pet receives the greatest level of care from our dedicated team of vets and nurses, including a 24-hour emergency service.
Our purpose-built veterinary facility in Moate is designed with animal welfare in mind, from our quiet feline pods and underfloor heated dog kennels, to our fully equipped surgical suite and diagnostic laboratory.
